The chat messenger

Better Chat now has a messenger for whispers. Open it with the ✉ button in the chat window, or type .messenger.

What it does

• Shows your whispers as one conversation per player.
• Keeps them after you restart the game.
• Ctrl+F searches all your whispers.
• You can pin and mute a conversation, add the player as a friend, and export the talk as a text file.
• Whatever you typed but did not send is kept.
• A whisper the server says reached nobody is not kept as sent.

Click a whisper in a chat panel to open the talk with that player. Right-click copies it.

If a server words whispers differently

Open the Chat Settings window (the ⚙ button in the chat) and pick the server's style under Whisper Format, or write your own pattern in Incoming Whisper and Outgoing Whisper.
